Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway, a major property developer and landlord, sought to connect and grow communities with caring service while raising sustainability awareness. To achieve this, Urban Air Design created a multi-channel sustainability report that aimed to engage stakeholders and reinforce the company's position as a sustainability leader.

The Smart Links Liveable Cities report highlights the significance of customers to the company. The inner pages feature informative infographics, facilitating the delivery of information. Additionally, interactive PDF documents were created to provide online readers with a dynamic reading experience through buttons, hyperlinks, and page transitions.

The project, which started in April 2018 and finished in August 2018 in Hong Kong, involved extensive research on the corporation's corporate responsibility vision. Stakeholder engagement focus groups were held to gather insights for the creative process. The resulting sustainability report exceeded expectations in terms of reach, user engagement, and recognition.

One of the main challenges faced by Urban Air was maintaining quality and enhancing user experience for such a large corporation. However, the team managed to create an innovative, interactive, and communicative sustainability report design that impressed users with its balance of creativity and functionality.

The Smart Links Liveable Cities report not only shapes people's thinking and way of life through a city map but also brings the company's passion for sustainability development into a creative and impactful conclusion. The design was awarded an Iron A' Design Award in the Website and Web Design category in 2019, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements.
